Common questions about roof care.

How do I know if my roof needs replacing or just care?
We inspect the roof and look at its age, material and condition. If cleaning, maintenance or a treatment can help, we'll recommend it. If the roof needs replacement, we'll tell you that too.
Can you treat my roof in cold weather?
We apply Roof Maxx while temperatures are above 35°F. In colder months we pause treatments and resume in spring. You can book an estimate any time, Tuesday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Does my roof qualify for Roof Maxx?
Roof Maxx is for asphalt shingle roofs. Roofs as young as 6–8 years can benefit, and roofs 15–20+ years old are often treated, sometimes after repairs. We'll check during your free estimate.
How long does a Roof Maxx treatment last?
Roof Maxx states one treatment adds about five years of life, with up to 15 years from treatments every five years. Treatments include a Roof Maxx five-year warranty.
Will roof cleaning damage my shingles?
We use methods suited to your roofing material and avoid high pressure on shingles. [DESCRIBE YOUR CLEANING METHOD]

Can you remove old satellite dishes while you're on the roof?
Yes. Dish removal can be added to a Roof Maxx treatment, cleaning or tune-up, or booked on its own. We repair the mounting points, recycle the dish and email you before-and-after photos.
Do I need to be home for dish removal?
No. The work is all outside. Your technician will contact you to confirm the cost before starting.
